Launching a New Year with Piedmont Healthcare

On January 1 MNET and Piedmont Healthcare of Atlanta launched the new Physician’s Portal for Piedmont Clinic. Although the project only began in September, the Clinic’s objective was to have comprehensive online services for physicians and their staff available for the new year including online access to directories that improve information flow, online access to physician quality initiatives including assessments and reports (in compliance with comprehensive PQRI standards), online access to meetings / meeting notes, clinic events and schedules, and much, much more.  The portal provides this content and functionality within a framework of security and operational efficiency for the clinic team.

This comprehensive site is being quickly adopted by the clinic team users in part because of the primary research and planning that dominated the first 6 weeks of the project.  Only through a research process that included interviews with numerous physicians and practice managers could the perfect user experience be crafted.  Only through collaboration with the medical data and security experts at Recombinant Data could MNET have provided a solution that provides access to important data needed by each practice without compromising security.
