Big Commerce Delays API Release

Big Commerce has a confirmed that a new API release (which would allow up-stream web site updating from 3rd party software) will not be completed until “the end of this year.”  They have recently released an update (V7) that has improved options and variations controls and they have also announced an end-to-end fulfillment offering (strange since there is no real back end integration capability without an API).

Web developers have the option of cobbling together their own software as an interim solution (call us if you need one - we have one) or also contacting Big Commerce to look at the licensed version of the product via Interspire.
